It's Ground Hog Day, . . . . again, . . . and with it another 6 week prediction of winter, no worries perfect timing to prepare for spring. . . by planting my seeds now they will all be ready to go in the ground after Easters last freeze as beautiful plants instead of seeds needing TIME to mature. We have five flag posts and around the base will be Center - Mammoth Sunflower growing to the height of 10 to 12 ft, then Lemon Queen Sunflower growing to the height of 6 to 9 ft, Then Evening Sun Sunflower growing to the height of 4 to 6 ft tall, encompassed around the base by Dwarf Alaska Nasturtium. All started here today. As well as two trays of Four O'clocks mixed colors and two trays of Shasta Daisys. . . Gardening is a great pleasure if we just ride time right and let it play it's course. . . Amazing things happen! Daily! Today we planted an opportunity to feed a few birds, give ourselves a healthy snack, and cultivate enough seeds from each variety to seed again next year. . . imagine all that and pretty cut flowers for the table who said you only had to plant ONLY ONE seed a day?
The Re-Birth Earth Challenge- To plant at least a single Edible Seed EVERYDAY! What happens at the end of a single year? At the end of Two, Three, Four, Five. . . .??? Who made a difference?
